The Sunday Painters were formed in late 1978 by Peter Raengel and Peter MacKinnon. They released three singles on their own Terminal Records between 1979 and 1981. Then, with a new bassist, Dennis Kennedy, they recorded their first album, Something To Do, which came out in 1982 as a run of 500 copies, also on Terminal. It’s as capacious an album as art-punk ever delivered.
